Pipeline Emergencies training is designed to help fire service and industry emergency responders to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively manage a pipeline.

It is based upon nationally recognized engineering practices, recommended operating practices, and training programs.

This curriculum was developed by a team of respected emergency response and industry experts in partnership with the National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM) and the US Department of Transportation's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.

This course is approved by the Michigan Firefighters Training Council Office of Firefighter Training (OFFT).

Training addresses:

  • Pipeline regulations and safety programs
  • Pipeline operations
  • Liquid products pipeline operations
  • Gas pipeline operations
  • Pipeline emergency response operations
  • Tactical response guidelines for pipeline emergencies

Weber Emergency Services has certified Fire Instructors who can provide Pipeline Emergencies training.

Our instructors and training are certified by the OFFT to deliver this curriculum.
