Weber Emergency Services

Weber Emergency Services is pleased to offer the Heartsaver® family of training from the American Heart Association. As an authorized provider of CPR and ECC courses, we are committed to improving the survival rate following sudden cardiac arrest and stroke.

This level of training is recommended for employee training at:

  • Companies
  • Corporations
  • Businesses
  • Or other entities

It is designed for employees or designated persons who have a duty to respond to a cardiac or first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

Training is conducted using the American Heart Association's video based instruction with certified and experienced instructors.

Heartsaver® CPR & AED training takes approximately three and a half (3 1/2) hours and covers:

  • Adult, child, and infant one-rescuer CPR
  • Adult, child, and infant relief of choking
  • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Heartsaver® First Aid training takes approximately three and a half (3 1/2) hours and covers:

  • Basic First Aid principles
  • What to do in medical emergencies
  • What to do in injury emergencies
  • What to do in environmental emergencies

Heartsaver® First Aid can be delivered in conjunction with Heartsaver® CPR & AED training above

Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens takes one to two (1-2) hours to complete and is designed specifically for workers who must be trained annually in bloodborne pathogens, such as:

  • General industry
  • Occupational health
  • Property management
  • Hospitality
  • Security
  • Health & fitness staff

Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens addresses:

  • The OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standard
  • How to protect yourself from exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • How to act appropriately when a bloodborne pathogens exposure occurs
  • How to clean up after a bloodborne pathogens exposure
  • How to properly report any bloodborne pathogens incident

Training can be scheduled at your facility at your convenience.

A two (2) year certification card is issued upon successful completion of all course requirements, with the exception of Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens, which comes with a one (1) year completion card.
